Linear Vault now live!

“Soon” is now here….

Today marks the launch of the much talked about Linear Vaults. We have successfully deployed our smart contracts and the Linear Vaults are LIVE!!

As many of you guessed over the last few months, the Linear Vaults are a yield generating addition to our ecosystem that allows our users to passively earn interest by staking ℓUSD and or Pancakeswap LP tokens. At Linear we truly value our community and the Linear Vaults are a direct result of user feedback requesting for a way to passively earn whilst holding LINA tokens.

To launch, we have created three Vaults with each Vault generating one of ℓUSD, BUSD or LINA. Users can simply lock their ℓUSD to earn either ℓUSD and or BUSD whilst those that are familiar with providing liquidity on PancakeSwap can opt to lock their LP tokens in our vault to earn LINA tokens.

But what purpose does this serve for Linear you may ask?

Since our mainnet launch, we have observed many users opting to trade ℓUSD outside of the Linear ecosystem in the hope that they earn greater percentages compared to the options available on the Linear Exchange. Whilst this was enabled by design, we must continue to expand our ecosystem by bringing additional use cases to LUSD. Users now have yet another option to earn, and as an unrestricted ecosystem we firmly believe our Vault options will encourage greater utilisation of our platform.

So is this it?

No, not by any stretch of the imagination, we will continue to build and next on the list are inverse/short tokens and multi-collateral staking. Many of our users are excited about the possibility of staking BTC and ETH, building ℓUSD and using ℓUSD as a vehicle to either passively earn or actively trade.

We have prepared a full walkthrough in preparation for the Linear Vault release which can be found here. For those that want to interact with our Vaults, please read this walkthrough carefully. Remember, our LP Vault allows for unlimited deposits however our ℓUSD vaults are on a first come first serve basis and spaces are limited.
